<p>Kiosque à journaux ou fleuriste situé près d'un grand magasin ou d'un hypermarché.</p>
Magasin de détail dont le pouvoir d'attraction (PULLING POWER) est extrêmement faible et qui profite du flux de clientèle (TRAFFIC) créé par les magasins voisins pour son propre achalandage 2 (goodwill).

<p>The <strong>parasite store</strong> does not create its own traffic and has no real trading area of its own. It depends on customers who are drawn into the location for other reasons.</p>
<p>Le <strong>magasin parasite</strong> ne possède pas d'attributs particuliers pouvant le démarquer des autres magasins pour attirer les clients.</p>
<p>Le <strong>magasin parasite</strong> s'oppose au magasin de destination (DESTINATION STORE) qui possède, par définition, un fort pouvoir d'attraction.</p><p>Le <strong>magasin parasite</strong> et le magasin satellite (satellite store) sont proches. Le magasin satellite est un <strong>magasin parasite</strong> implanté dans un centre commercial où il bénéficie du flux de circulation des locomotives (ANCHORS).</p>
